Ridge Logging, Inc

About

Ridge Logging is a family-owned forest management company based in Grass Valley, serving property owners across the Sierra Nevada region. Founded in 1992 by Brian Forkner and built on a multi-generational logging tradition, we help residential landowners, timberland owners, public agencies, and land trusts create defensible space, reduce hazardous fuels, and maintain healthy, fire-resilient forests. Our services include logging, brush removal, hazard tree removal, and tailored vegetation management plans — supported by specialized equipment and a locally hired, community-focused crew. Fully licensed and insured: CSLB #1107585 (C-61/D-49 Tree Service, General Class A Engineering) and Timber Operator License A-303.
