Chase Tree Service is a family-owned outfit based in Colfax, serving Sierra foothill communities across Nevada and Placer counties, from Nevada City and Grass Valley to Auburn and Weimar. Our founder Tom started this business with a rope, a saw, and a dream, and over 30 years has grown the team into one of the most technically proficient tree services in the region. We take on the big jobs: big timber felling, hazard tree climbing, crane removals up to 135 feet, and a 90-foot tracked spider lift for steep hillsides and tight spaces. Our excavator with masticator makes short work of brush, scotch broom, and defensible space clearing, and we handle chipping, hauling, stump grinding, storm cleanup, firewood, and even milling your lumber. We are licensed (CSLB #1036506), bonded, and insured, with an ISA Tree Risk Assessor on the team and 24-hour emergency help when storms hit.
